To comply with NHS guidelines, it is important that we confirm contact telephone numbers for patients age 13 and over. The Chipping Surgery uses SMS text messages to contact patients to:
- confirm/cancel booked appointments using interactive messages
- amend booked appointments
- send appointment reminders and letters
- send individual invites to screening, medication reviews and vaccination appointments
- send test result notifications/advice to call the practice when action is needed
- pass on information from GP’s
- send relevant health information
- send friends and family test surveys
