Autumn 2025 Vaccination Campaign Updates

Autumn 2025 Vaccination Campaign

Autumn Vaccination Programme 2025 – Flu and Covid

Planning for our Autumn Programme of Flu and Covid vaccines is now well under way.

Vaccines are ordered, for delivery in September. The programme itself begins for the vast majority of our eligible patients in October, and we have clinics being arranged across a number of days, including early and later appointments to help those of you who work or find it tricky to get here during the normal surgery opening hours.

We will be sending invites to our eligible patients towards the end of this month – please look out for these. Where we have mobile numbers recorded, as in previous years we will be sending self-book links, but if you prefer, you can call our friendly reception team to book. If we have no mobile recorded, we will contact you by letter asking you to book.

PLEASE DO NOT CALL US YET, CLINIC DATES HAVE YET TO BE FINALISED.

Further updates will be posted on here, on our Facebook page, and in surgery itself.

A message from Dr Wade, our Vaccine Lead.

We encourage all our patients to attend for vaccinations as they become eligible to protect them from the effects of contracting serious illnesses. Links to NHS guidance on vaccinations are available from our website below, and these explain the benefits of vaccination, and possible side effects.

Some vaccines can be co-administered safely, that is given at the same time as another vaccine. This is the case for the shingles and pneumococcal vaccines. Patients eligible for both will routinely be offered both at one appointment. However, we do understand that some patients prefer to attend separately for their vaccines – just speak to your clinician when you attend; we are always happy to accommodate separate appointments at patient’s request.

If you have any queries regarding vaccinations and eligibility, please either call the surgery reception team on 01453 842214 Option 1, or submit an online form here:
