Spring 2026 Vaccination Campaign Updates

Spring 2026 Vaccination Campaign – 22nd May 2026

Surgery Covid vaccination clinics have now finished. Over 70% of our most vulnerable patients have received their vaccinations, boosting their protection from this virus.

If you are eligible and still wish to receive your Spring Booster vaccination, please call 119 or use this link to book with the local NHS booking service.

A message from Dr Wade, our Vaccine Lead.

We encourage all our patients to attend for vaccinations as they become eligible to protect them from the effects of contracting serious illnesses. Links to NHS guidance on vaccinations are available from our website below, and these explain the benefits of vaccination, and possible side effects.

Some vaccines can be co-administered safely, that is given at the same time as another vaccine. This is the case for the shingles and pneumococcal vaccines. Patients eligible for both will routinely be offered both at one appointment. However, we do understand that some patients prefer to attend separately for their vaccines – just speak to your clinician when you attend; we are always happy to accommodate separate appointments at patient’s request.

If you have any queries regarding vaccinations and eligibility, please either call the surgery reception team on 01453 842214 Option 1, or submit an online form here:
