Childhood Immunisations
Childhood Immunisation Vaccinations are usually given through your School Nursing Team if you attend a school or college. Some young people do not have these at school and as a result, we offer catch up campaigns from time to time in Surgery and if you are eligible for those vaccinations still, the Practice will contact you directly.

Vaccinations in preparation for adulthood
If you are off to University, you would have been offered the MenACWY vaccination while at school as part of the school immunisations programme. As a result, most young people will have had this during school years, if you aren’t sure if you’ve received this, please contact the Child Immunisation Team on 0300 421 8140 to check. You can then contact the Practice to book in for your catch up vaccine if you are under 25yrs.
Many of you will be aware that this year has seen the introduction of the Meningitis B vaccination for specific age groups. Please note, this is only available through your local Pharmacy NOT at your GP Practice. You can find more information about this here.
